Larry Burns is the host of Environmentally Sound. Mr. Burns, a native of Detroit, graduated in 1978 from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. As the Vice President for External Affairs at The University of Toledo, Mr. Burns is uniquely connected to the research and development taking place on UT's campus and around the world in the areas of alternative energy and sustainability. In Environmentally Sound, Mr. Burns will explore the most recent findings of this research, the latest trends in the sustainability movement and the implications the work at The University of Toledo and around the region has for the future.
