Race for the Cure is coming up on Sept. 30.

If you haven’t been to this event in downtown Toledo, it’s worth checking out. Whether you’ve been touched by breast cancer or not, it’s inspiring to see so many people come together for a cause.

And UT is looking for team members! Please consider joining our team. Just go to the link to sign up and search for “Rockets for the Cure” to join our team.

If you work at UT,  you’re a breast cancer survivor and you let Aimee Falk know you want to participate, she’s got 10 free registrations – the first 10 survivors to inquire get those. But we need you to fill out the form by this Thursday, Sept. 13 so we can get them sent in by the deadline the next day.

That’s not the only thing going on at UT with regard to breast cancer awareness.

We’ve got a fun pink glove dance project happening, too.  “Like” UTMC’s page on Facebook – we’re sharing sneak peaks as they are sent to us from participants. As Dr. Iman Mohamed’s message to a group who particiapted said, “This was a unique experience that brought many teams together from different areas at the hospital and showed that we can be mobilized for the right cause. We do things right and we do them with a lot of heart!”
