I’m not really what you would call a “sports enthusiast” or “someone who watches sports,” but, even still, I’ve found myself caught up in the Rocket Women’s Basketball fever. How could you not?!
Coach Cullop is doing fantastic work (and getting bonus points from me for Tweeting about it) and the Rockets are playing great basketball that is inspiring record, sold-out crowds in Savage Arena. The atmosphere during the games is a lot less dangerous than one literally full of electricity, but it carries just about the same amount of power. We wanted to capture that excitement, so we armed our own “team” of University Communications staff with Flip Video cameras and took to the stands.
We ended up with a lot of great footage of a lot of great Rocket fans. Check out the videos below to see what I mean. We had a bit of an office contest with the editing process.
