Orientation Leaders plan and run the orientation programs, and we interact with incoming students and their families to ensure that they have a smooth transition to becoming a Rocket! We’re there from the morning to the afternoon, talking to students and parents, answering questions about the University and college life, giving residence hall and campus tours, and dancing…a lot.

Students can work up to 40 hours a week over the summer, and can qualify for free summer housing on campus. This job works very well around summer class schedules, and is a great way to become familiar with many aspects of UT and make friends!
