Last Night was AWESOME !!

Hello Fellow Rockets,

Thursday I decided to attend the current production of the UT Department of Theatre and Film: In the Next Room (The Vibrator Play). I attended it with a friend and it was the most interesting, intense and comedic play I have ever seen. The cast and production team did an awesome job with this production. I love going to support my fellow Rockets by attending different plays and events. I have attended many plays while a student here at UT, from Bat Boy: The Musical (Spring 2008) to Macbeth (Spring 2009). I must say we have very talented students that have attended UT and students whom are still students presently.

The play was full of comedy but it also took me deeper, directed by Ms. Irene Alby (my former Creative Process professor . . . ); the play for me went to reveal human emotion and the connection between sensuality and sexuality. I felt very comfortable and although there was sexual content they did an awesome job with professionalism. It was done in a very tasteful manner and I would definitely go see it again. I could tell that the audience enjoyed the play and the added fun during the intermission.

This play is a MUST SEE and I give it 2 thumbs up and 5 stars! It is now playing until April 22nd DON”T MISS OUT!
