The Annual Race for the Cure is Almost Here! Register Now!
Hello Fellow Rockets,
As students and members of the community we know it is great to play our part to help make a difference. The opportunity to make a difference and experience an event like no other is quickly approaching and can be found at Race for a Cure.
Last year I volunteered at “Race for a Cure” in downtown Toledo. I have to say that it was an experience like no other! To see the community come together was a wonderful sight to see; people of all ages and different backgrounds were there for ONE CAUSE. The community became one and we were all come out on race day to promote awareness about breast cancer, breast health, give support, and celebrate survivors and most of all come together to find a cure.
The risk of women developing breast cancer is growing and we need to come together to find a cure and make a difference. Join us at this wonderful life changing event on Sunday, September 30th, 2012.
You will find more information BELOW about Komen Northwest Ohio and how to register for the race or how to get involved if you would like to volunteer. For more information on breast cancer click here!
I hope to see you there
