Happy Tuesday, Rockets!

Hopefully you logged on to your MyUT portal this week to vote in the Student Government Elections and also to vote YES! on the UT Student Green Fund initiative! If you did, you were probably a little confused to see that the Student Green Fund voting was not there as anticipated. We apologize for this miscommunication, and all of us involved with the Green Fund would like to thank our friends at Student Government for working so swiftly to help us correct it. Thanks to your hardworking Student Government colleagues, we will present to the student body a separate vote on Monday, April 16th, on your MyUT portal. The ballot page will resemble the one you see this week as you vote for your Student Government leaders.

Again, I apologize to all those who read my previous blog post and had anticipated voting on the Green Fund this week. Thank you all for your kind emails asking me what you could do to make sure your voice is heard! Don’t forget to check your MyUT portal on April 16th to vote on the Student Green Fund! And, while you’re already working to make UT a greener place on April 16th, come out to Earth Fest from 11 to 4 at Centennial Mall! (Rain location: The Maple Room at the Rec Center.)
