UT Library/Toledo-County Public Library Collaborate in Library Card Sign up Day

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library will be at Carlson Library to sign students up for public library cards and to show off their e-media including online music, videos, and books. The collaboration aims to promote library services in every aspect of life and especially to connect students to more popular materials while they are away from their local libraries.

To sign up for a public library card bring a photo ID to Carlson Library room 1009 on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 9:30-2:30. If the ID does not have an Ohio address please bring an official document, such as a rental agreement or utility bill, with an Ohio address.

is UT’s Business and Economics Librarian. She passionately believes in connecting students to information. In the library this often means finding and evaluating books and articles as important steps in the decision making process, but it really includes so much more.
