Our Rockets once again put on a clinical display to beat VCU 81-64 and book their spot in the Elite 8 of the WNIT.  UT will now face Syracuse at Savage Arena this Saturday at 2 pm.

Once again, the golden-clad UT community rallied in support of the team as numerous Lady Rockets put up record breaking numbers as UT ran away with the game.

As with last season, the incredible attendance and game atmosphere has been a major factor in UT being awarded the chance to host these tournament games, and I hope we continue to support our amazing team who has achieved so much and created such positive publicity for our school and community.

The tournament is heating up, so once again I encourage all of you to break out your GOLD clothing, and come cheer on the Rockets this Saturday at Savage Arena as they look to earn a place in the Final Four and defend their championship.

Tickets for the game are on sale now at Savage Arena. UT employees have the opportunity to purchase up to two tickets at half price. Tickets are $13 for reserved (lower level) seating or $11 for general admission (upper East level).

All UT Students will receive FREE ADMITTANCE with their student I.D., compliments of the Office of the President.

The first 500 students will receive a FREE T-shirt and FREE pizza. As an added bonus, the loudest fan in each half will also receive a $50 gift card!
