Important Date, then Celebrate!
Good afternoon UT students! As the second week of classes nears its end I hope you all are enjoying the good feeling that comes from getting acclimated to your courses. I also encourage you to seek out and build a relationship with your instructors – they are an invaluable resource! Accessing them during their office hours is a wonderful place to get started.
IMPORTANT: Tomorrow, January 18, is the LAST day to add a course for this semester. You must use the Course Request and Seminar Request forms that can be found here, and have a signature from the course instructor as well as the Dean of your college, and these forms must be taken in person to Rocket Solution Central in Rocket Hall. Courses can be dropped online through the 21. Further important registration information can be found here as well.
This weekend also marks the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration! Join the University and City of Toledo in celebrating his legacy by coming down to Savage Arena on January 21 for the MLK Resource Fair and Food Drive! Thousands of students, faculty, and staff have made this a part of their annual calendar. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. — believe me, it’s worth getting up for.
As always I encourage you to come by my office (UH 3630) or the Office for the Student Experience in the Student Union (SU 2521) if you have any questions or concerns whatsoever; we’re here to help.
Have a wonderful weekend!
