There has been a great deal of excitement going around The UT Medical Center regarding our new Service Excellence initiative. Well…Monday, in the main lobby from 9 A.M. through 11 P.M  you can find out what Service Excellence is all about.

Join us for UTMC’s Service Excellence Fair! This will be a day long event and opportunity to learn all there is to know about Service Excellence and the teams that will help implement this strategy. The exciting part of this initiative is that every aspect of it relies on US as employees. We are called to action, and the action is SERVICE!

As a new employee of The University of Toledo Medical Center, nothing creates a sense of pride more than knowing that there is value in my service. Knowing that when I smile at someone in passing, or introduce myself to a patient and guide them to their location, I not only have an impact on the day of the patient, but I have made an impact in my organization. I matter!

In addition to the information aspect of the fair, you will have the chance to submit your suggestion for the Service Excellence theme as we move forward. If your theme is selected, you will be awarded  a $100 gift card! How cool is that?

Candice Harrison is the Director of Health Care Marketing at The University of Toledo Medical Center. She is a “hometown girl” from Toledo that takes great pride in her city. She earned a BA in Communication at UT and MA in Communication from Spring Arbor University. Candice is very excited about UT’s mission and thrilled to work in an academic medical center on the cutting-edge of technology! She is anxious to share what’s happening at UTMC with you. Candice is a self-proclaimed news, pop culture and social media junkie who loves to talk, cook, write, work in the community and adores her husband and two children. She is a huge fan of the team who lives at the shoe, but will gladly cheer on the UT Rockets!
