Toledo Heart Walk 2013March 12th, 2013
(drum roll please)………The Toledo Heart Walk will take place, on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Fifth Third Field, gates open at 8:00 a.m. This is an event that promises lots of fun, activities and food for all. You can even bring your pets!
Last Year our local American Heart Association raised just over $526,000 from their various events held in Northwest, Ohio. Simultaneously in 2012 the American Heart Association gave over $770,000 to the University of Toledo in the form of research grants. That means that for every $1 raised locally, $1.40 is coming back to the University of Toledo.
The University of Toledo’s Fundraising Goal is set at $30,000! In order to make this happen we need your help here at The University of Toledo Medical Center. We are looking for 60 Team Captains from UTMC to raise $30,000 and achieve our goal!
We are looking for each department to be represented by a team. We will be hosting a Team Captain Orientation/Open House on Thursday March 14th, 2013 in front of the gift shop near the Cafeteria inside the hospital from 11:00am-2:00pm.
Enter as a Team Captain for your department and your name will be entered into a drawing!
Thank you so much for your assistance and for your commitment to this very important cause.
