Spring- a Time for Cleansing & a Special!March 14th, 2014
Spring really is around the corner- the calendar says so! Spring is a good time to lighten your diet for some gentle detoxing, and free your cells from the debris collected over the winter, as a result of too little activity and a few too many processed foods. It is a great time to finally get outdoors, walk in the sunshine and fresh air and clean the cobwebs from your mind as well.
These are ways to recharge, rejuvenate and renew!
Massage therapy is a great tool for cleansing your body. Massaging the muscles pushes out the old stale blood filled with toxins so the new fresh blood can rush in. This gets the toxins into the circulatory system for easier elimination.
Your lymphatic system works to help the circulatory system flush out toxins as well. If your lymphatic system gets sluggish, toxins can accumulate and immune cells may not get to areas of the body where they are needed. The lymph system doesn’t have a pump like the heart to keep the fluid moving. It has to rely on exercise and breathing. Massage can be a great way to stimulate the lymphatic system to help with detoxing and provide good support for your immune system.
So, if you’re feeling sluggish and not quite yourself after this very long winter, try a massage to get back on tract. Drinking plenty of pure water after a session will aid with flushing out the toxins.
To help you get started with your internal Spring cleaning, we have a Spring Special! $10.00 off the price of an hour session (normally $60), and $5.00 off the price of a half hour session, (normally $30), IF you schedule an appointment by March 31st. (The session does not have to take place by March 31st, you just need to book an appointment by that date to take advantage of this special.) Remember, there is no tipping or tax, so this is a bargain. Do your body a favor and book an appointment today!
