Increasing Activity can Decrease Snacking
Happy Summer everyone!
Well….we made it! I think it is safe to say the never ending winter is gone. I was beginning to think I was never going to wear shorts again!
I read an article I found interesting the other day regarding the perception of exercise. When people thought of their activity as fun, they were more likely to make healthier food choices. The theory being, that people may feel entitled to a “reward” following a work out. Participants that thought of the activity as fun had a reduced perception of exertion and increased positive mood. My point?? Find something you enjoy, grab a friend, some good music and have FUN!
