Hello Again Fellow Rockets!
Sorry we missed those of you who were unable to attend last Wednesday night’s First Annual Spring Open House hosted by the newly established UT Human Performance and Fitness Professionals Association. We will host another open house in the upcoming Fall 2012 semester. However, we will be hosting our first general body meeting NEXT Wednesday, April 11th in HSHS 2307 at 7:30 p.m. (SAVE THE DATE + BRING A FRIEND). We are really looking for dedicated individuals to take on officer positions who are willing to grow with the organization as it moves to the next level so PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! At the meeting membership requirements and Spring 2012 Officer Elections will be discussed. Membership and Officer Applications will be provided at the meeting for those of you who would like to run for a position or simply become a member. Also, we will be collecting the $20 dues for those of you who have already filled out the membership application however, DUES Will NOT be required to attend this meeting. Its going to be an exciting year for the organization and it would be awsome to have members to share the excitement with. Remember reach to us and we will always make an effort to reach back out to you. We look forward to seeing you!

The University of Toledo Human Performance & Fitness Professionals Association was established for those curious or possibly interested in the exercise science major and those who are currently undergraduate Exercise Science majors. The purpose of the organization is to expand the student’s knowledge of current exercise-related topics, to enhance the awareness of future career options, and to collaborate as a group participating in activities to develop personal and social leadership skills while extending the knowledge about the benefits of exercise to all of The University of Toledo community.
