Checking in with UT Admission

Fall 2013 is right around the corner, time to start on your next steps! Do you have what it takes to be a Rocket? Follow these simple steps and of course your answer will be YES!

Step 1: Visit Campus & Fall in Love

Make sure you have made an appointment to visit our beautiful campus. Daily tours, special tours and even Experience Days for admitted students are available.

Step 2: Complete your FAFSA and Housing Application

The FAFSA and Housing applications are now available, complete these ASAP for top priority!

The FAFSA is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov, UT’s Financial Code is 003131.

The housing application is available through your MyUT account, if you’re planning to room with a friend, be sure to include them on your application!

Step 3: Sign up for Rocket Launch Orientation

Watch the mail for the Rocket Launch booklet in April with details on how to register for summer orientation dates. If you have to take placement tests be sure to log into your MyUT account to determine which ones you need to take (these are based on your GPA and ACT or SAT test scores).

We are looking forward to having you be a part of the Rocket family! If you would like to come to campus to complete some of these next steps, join us April 20^th for Countdown to UT!

File your FAFSA, take placement tests, meet with Office of Residence Life, register for Rocket Launch Orientation, and speak with staff from the Admission Office about any last minute questions.
