Geeked about UT Greeks!
I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I was this year’s recipient of The University of Toledo’s Greek Community Outstanding Faculty/Staff Member Award. I humbly accepted this award and have since hung it on my wall. It is great to work so closely with so many talented students, especially those in the Greek community here at UT. I was flattered by the kind words said by my students. After all, they are the reason I wake up and come to my office. Making sure my students get to experience the world, step into outside-the box excursions, and have transformative, educational, life-changing opportunities has always been important to me as a higher education professional.
I want to help students realize they can take their life into their own hands; they have the power to create the life of their dreams. In my line of world, I hope I convey that message to the Greek community and all students, faculty and staff at the University.
Thanks again UT Greek Life! I enjoyed judging songfest this year and look forward to participating in more Greek events this year, and every year, at UT.
About the award: The Outstanding Faculty/Staff Member Award is to recognize faculty and staff that contribute in their particular field of endeavor and contribute to the Greek community.
