NYC Service-Learning Success!
UT’s Leadership Through Service Living Learning Community and advanced-level American Language Institute students participated in an alternative spring break service-learning trip. Students spent the entire week devoting their time to the homeless and hungry population of 100,000 in New York City. I commend these students for giving so generously to others in need and for representing the University in such a positive manner. The effort and commitment they gave to this experience humbled them and put their privilege into perspective. I hope you will join me in commending their hard work.
