A Leadership Opportunity
Hello All,
This past summer, I took part in an excellent opportunity, being an Student Orientation Leader! I really enjoyed this experience! I was able to help and interact with the new students whether it was someone straight out of high or someone who decided to continue their education later in their life. Every orientation leader had something to contribute to a new students experience whether you were a transfer student, a freshman the year before, or even a senior. Each leader had an experience that maybe everyone else did not, which what makes the Student Orientation Leader job all the better. I must say that I know I made a difference and I reassured many parents that the University of Toledo was the right decision. That in itself was one of the best experiences.
Being a Student Orientation Leader has allowed me to meet many faculty members and has increased my network on campus. As well as allowing me to be more knowledgeable about resources and procedures on the academic and financial spectrum. And finally it has allowed me to become an even better leader!! AND PLUS I HAD FUN!!!!!!!
If you want to make an impact in a NEW ROCKETS first steps into college and if you have what it takes, then I would encourage you to APPLY to be an ORIENTATION LEADER TODAY!!
