Holy Toledo… that went by fast!
Today marks my final week at The University of Toledo as a student! I can’t believe it, I remember the first time I was on campus like it was yesterday… you who know the story, know that I teared up when I saw the bell tower and it’s beauty. It was the moment that I realized I wanted to be a Rocket!
I wanted to take time to thank all of you for all that you have been a part of my career here at UT! It’s been full of ups and downs (mainly ups) that I wouldn’t change for anything because it’s brought me to the point I am in my life today, and I couldn’t be happier!!!
Like all good Generation Y members, I obviously went back through my Facbeook, Twitter & Instagram feeds and looked at all the moments that were post worthy and I wanted to share a few with you!
My first picture of college… with the 2007 Freshman softball class. What an amazing group of young girls. At this point we did not know what the future held, but we knew we were all in it together… “The Great 8″

Senior Year-Softball
On Senior Day of May 2011 we completed our last game as a three member crew. I am so humbled to have had the opportunity to play D1 athletics and play the game that I love with these ladies and for The University of Toledo.
The next stage of my career as a Rocket, I became a member of The Division of External Affairs as a graduate assistant. This opportunity presented endless possibilities to grow in my career and to meet some pretty incredible people!
Chris Ankney and I at The Military Bowl, December 2011. Along with the awesome Cameron Norton we completed the coolest social media trip of all time…The UT Tweet Bus. We trended UT all the way to DC and back! And the Rockets beat Air Force, such an amazing trip that I will never forget!
Another great opportunity was being able to be a part of the marketing team that works with our partnerships with The Detroit Tigers & Red Wings.
I was able to work within athletics during game days… it helped me not loose my roots
These individuals have changed my life! I will forever be grateful to them for the lessons taught, mentoring provided & friendships we have formed!
Finally, thank you to all my friends that I met at Toledo. You completed my experience.. and I know we’ll be friends forever!

I am one proud Alum! Two times over!!! And will always be proud to be a Rocket! Thank you to all that may not have been pictured in this post, you know that I love you and care so much for you. As I get ready for the next step of my career, please know that you are all a part of who I am today and look forward to what the future holds!
GO ROCKETS!
